Cleveland Park, while being mostly residential still has a generous amount of places to eat and spend the evening. Cleveland Park station is within a block of the Uptown movie theatre, one of the premier places to see new releases in the D.C. area. Uptown’s large screen and stadium seating, along with its elaborate sound system, help to create a unique movie-going experience. Because of all these features, Uptown sells out regularly, and tickets should be purchased ahead of time. Cleveland Park also provides access to the Mexican restaurants California Tortilla and Allero, although Allero has a much more formal setting. Outside of a small cluster of restaurants, the area becomes residential with many single houses and a few apartment buildings.
