Farragut North

Farragut North is just as a commercial an area as Metro Center, but the area directly around the station lacks many of the interesting stores which dot other areas. There are several places to eat that won't drain any wallet. There is a Subway within eyesight as well as Quizno's. Tourists looking for a quieter place to sit can go to nearby Caribou Coffee. There is also a Potbelly's within a block of the station, but other than these few eateries, office buildings dominate. There are a few places to buy clothes, such as Men's Warehouse, but nothing oriented towards students or young adults. There is a pleasant park that, although small, provides a nice place to sit amongst a mostly austere area. Farragut North is close to 25 minutes from the Takoma and Silver Spring stations.
