National Institutes of Health Summer Internship Program (SIP) i
The NIH provides the SIP program for high school, undergraduate, graduate and dental students with the purpose of encouraging high-school interns to pursue a career in science and biomedical research. Interns will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with mentors and conduct ground-breaking research in any of the NIH's several institutions. The stipend for 2007-2008 is $1700 for high school students and $1900 for high school graduates.
