Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC)
Students who would like to apply should call and discuss their availability with the HOC Preservation Coordinator. They may also set up an interview time. If approved, students can earn Student Service Learning (SSL) Hours by helping students ranging from first grade to seventh grade with their homework after school and watching over the kids once they are done. Tutors will also have to help with various tasks such as cleaning up, setting out snacks and taking the kids outside to play. Students will not have to go everyday; times and sessions are flexible and will be chosen based on personal schedules.
