Vietnamese Lunar New Year

Tet, or the celebration of the new year, is an important part of Vietnamese culture and will take place on January 23. The holiday will mark the beginning of spring and the year of the dragon. The Maryland Vietnamese Mutual Association, an charity and advocacy group for Vietnamese Americans, hosted a celebration of Tet on January 14th in the SAC that featured food, vendors, a beauty pageant, and more.
