Those who became fans of Kanye West's ingenuity as an artist when he stepped on the scene with "College Dropout" in 2004, will find the same musical creativity in "Robocop," a track off of his newest album, "808s and Heartbreak." Capitalizing on the popularity of the Auto-Tune plug-in, West combines a catchy backbeat with lyrics full of pop culture references, creating a sure hit.

Those who were put-off by Kanyeezy's larger than life swagger and ego, can appreciate the new subject matter of his newest album and this track. "Robocop" details West's troubles with an overly abrasive lady friend, casting the rapper in a refreshingly different light than his previous self-praising songs.

Rather than rapping, Kanye chooses to sing throughout the whole album – a courageous move for an artist who claims to be one of the best rappers in the game. Although relying heavily on the Auto-Tune, Kanye can carry a tune well and his tracks, "Robocop" in particular, are a true testament to the artist's versatility. Just don't expect to see him on Broadway anytime soon.
