The greatest flaw of "Feels Like Tonight," the sixth single from Chris Daughtry's debut album, is that it is overshadowed and outdone by their smash hit "Home." Although lacking some of the emotion and strength that made "Home" so popular, "Feels Like Tonight" still holds its own as a solid track. "Feels Like Tonight" takes a slower tempo than previous songs and briefly flirts with pop. Daughtry's extremely strong and polished vocal tones make the song's meaningful, although somewhat uninspired, lyrics, such as "can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do/but try to make it up to you?" almost soothing. Entrenched in a captivating guitar background and catchy melodies, "Feels Like Tonight" is a fantastic rock song.
