Brittany Cheng ('13) served as co-Editor-in-Chief of Silver Chips Online (SCO) with
Langston Taylor during the 2012-2013 school year. During their tenure, Cheng and Taylor led the site's front page makeover with technical staff members Prashan Dharmasena and Jessica Shi, incorporated live-blogging and tweeting into SCO's repertoire, gave Print Archives a place on the site using Issuu, and expanded the SCO's use of multimedia elements by teaming up with Blair Network Communications (BNC) to produce video and radio pieces. In the process, SCO won the 2013 Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Gold Crown Award in the Hybrid category. In addition, as a staff member, Cheng won honors for her pieces, "
