Telling the West Side Story
The teaser for the Blair spring musical West Side Story played yesterday and will be playing again today during the 5A and 5B lunches, showing brief glimpses of the promising show.
Though troubled by low sound quality and several technical errors, the few scenes portrayed were energetic and enticing. Average voices but entertaining actors complete the picture of a standard, yet still charming and enjoyable play. Hopefully with the small glitches cleaned up and the real audience piled into the auditorium, the show will shine a little bit stronger and its stars a little bit brighter.
West Side Story is playing March 28 to 29 at 7:30 p.m. and March 30 at 2:00 p.m.
It will also be running April 4 to 5 at 7:30 p.m.
