From the senior parents meeting April 1, the following is all the necessary information for seniors regarding graduation, prom, and the last days of senior year. Seniors should be sure to mark the dates of all events.

Prom
Date: Saturday, May 24, 2003
Time: 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Place: Hyatt Regency Bethesda
Address: One Bethesda Metro Center (Wisconsin Avenue at Old Georgetown Road), Bethesda, MD 20814
Theme: Moonlight Escapade
Cost: $40 per person (regardless of whether part of a couple)
Tickets can be purchased at the financial office during regular student hours through May 16.

After Prom
Date: Sunday, May 25, 2003
Time: 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Place: Blair (enter at Colesville Road)
Theme: Catch a Wave. . .

Cap and Gown Distribution
Date: May 27, 2003 and May 28,2003
Time: During lunch and before/after school
Place: Room 135
Price: $50 after spring break (unless part of senior package), $20 if using owned cap and gown.
Seniors can keep their cap and gowns.

Graduation Rehearsal
*NOTE: Rehearsal is mandatory for all seniors. Seniors should bring their cap and gown.
Date: Friday, May 30, 2003
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Place: Blair auditorium

Graduation
Date: Monday, June 2, 2003
Time: ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. Plan to be seated by 9:15 a.m. There are no assigned seats.
Place: The Jericho City of Praise
Address: 8501 Spectrum Drive, Landover, MD 20785 (next to Fedex Stadium) Directions
Attire: Females – light colored dresses or pant suits and dress shoes that you can comfortably walk in. Do NOT bring a purse. Do NOT wear any flowers.
Males – light colored dress shirts (long or short sleeves), four-in-hand necktie, dress slacks and socks and dress shoes. Do NOT wear a suit or sport jacket – you’ll be too hot.

Because of the change in location, there are no limits to the number of people each student can invite to attend the ceremony.

Class Picture
Date: Friday, May 30, 2003
Time: 10:00 a.m. (following rehearsal)
Place: Main gym
Price: $30 if purchased separately from the senior package

Graduation Video or DVD
What: A professionally produced video of the entire graduation ceremony
Price: $35 (includes shipping), $42 if ordered Graduation Day or later

Graduation Photographs
Segall-Majestic will photograph each senior as the diploma is awarded. A proof will be mailed to each home. Ordering the picture is optional.

Senior package
Price: $100 until Spring Break, $105 after Spring Break
Includes: cap and gown, class of 2003 group photograph, 5 graduation announcements, 2003 full color yearbook, 2003 literary/arts magazine
