Blair students and staff evacuated the building today as part of a drill of Code Blue emergency procedures.

At 1:00 pm, during seventh period, an announcement over the PA system instructed personnel to "activate Code Blue procedures." "This is a drill," the announcement continued.

Seven minutes later, another announcement said "To continue this drill, we will all evacuate the building."

Students and staff then evacuated to the stadium, as they would for a fire drill, where they remained unil the all-clear signal was given at 1:22.

An announcement at 1:33 congratulated Blair on a "successful drill."
