State senator to speak to students
State Senator Christopher Van Hollen will be speaking at Blair tomorrow in connection with the Student Democrats Association.
Van Hollen is coming to speak to students on Wednesday, December 19 at 3:00 in room 164. Van Hollen is running against Mark Kennedy Shriver for the Democratic nomination for congress in the eighth district of Maryland. He will speak about education, the environment, and civil liberties.
Van Hollen is the first in a series of speakers. Invited by the SDA, Mark Kennedy Shriver will be coming to speak at the beginning of next year.
