Is the people take advantage of the Bill of Rights? Where they can protest and let their voice be heard. I think it's okay to protest as long it is not hateful or degrade anyone. Have respect for Bush and for your self.

I used to live near MBHS, but now call New Zealand home. It was very uplifting to read such a matter of fact, informative description of the Protest to End the War in Iraq.
I Google'd "DC Protest" on Friday (your time) expecting the usual zillions of sites, but the Silver Chips Online was the leading source of info.
Good writing. Good work! Mike Wilson

Why would an online high school newspaper advertise this?

Why wouldn't an online high school newspaper advertise this? This was a HUGE protest that has and will continue to have a major impact on how the nation views the war. Furthermore, the protest is taking place in the area and my bet (because it's Blair) is that TONS of kids attended. I think every newspaper should cover this!
