Blazers can't keep up with the Rockets

Blair varsity field hockey (4-4) suffered a tough loss to the Richard Montgomery Rockets (4-5) in Oct. 9, falling 3-0.

Blair softball shuts down Walter Johnson Wildcats

The Blazers started the game quickly against the Walter Johnson Wildcats and never let up. Strong batting and a no-hitter by senior pitcher Karylena Cruz held the Blazers coast their way to a resounding 19-0 victory.

Boy's soccer falls to Meade in state semifinal

The Blair Blazers (15-2) lost to the Meade Mustangs (16-1) 3-1 in penalty kicks Saturday night. After regulation and two overtime periods the score was 0-0 in a game dominated by two tough defensive units. The loss knocked the Blazers out of the playoffs.

Blair athletics take a leap in the right direction

There's a culture shift underway at Blair, and it's changing the student body for the better. The school year has officially ended, and there are definitely some fond athletic memories in every Blazer's mind.
