The open internet keeps more doors open

The fast lane and the slow lane; Netflix versus Hulu; ordering takeout Pizza; modern air travel. All of these have been used as analogies to describe the complex topic of net neutrality, or the open internet. Net Neutrality encompasses a large number of issues such as internet speed, prioritization of some companies over others due to business agreement and ownership and a bundled one-fee plan in comparison to paying for each type of internet content separately.

TechnoLogical: Sprint's turmoil points to a stable future with Clearwire

The Now Network has been through turmoil in the last several years. They bought Nextel in 2007 and rolled out the first 4G network in America based on the network of another company, Clearwire.

Takoma Park resident starting nonprofit radio station

Takoma Park resident Marika Partridge has formed Takoma Radio, a nonprofit radio station for the Takoma Park community. The station is lacking an operating license from the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) and is not on-air yet.
