Girls' soccer crushes Northwood, 6-0

The Blair girls' varsity soccer team (3-6) triumphed over the Northwood Gladiators in the team's first division game The resounding win was a confidence boost for the Lady Blazers, whose previous games were narrow losses.

Girls' soccer falls to Whitman

Blair varsity girls' soccer (2-4) lost to the Whitman Vikings (3-0-1) by a score of 3-0. Though the Vikings largely dominated the game, the Blazers put up a good fight with solid defense and many offensive chances.

Girls' soccer dominates Kennedy in 4-0 shutout

Blair varsity girls' soccer (2-2) defeated the Kennedy Lady Cavaliers through a mixture of offensive strikes and solid defense. The lady blazers had difficulty getting started, however, and frequently missed chances to score, finally netting two goals at the end of the first half and managing to finish strong with two more goals in the second half.

The Blair varsity girls' soccer team (4-4-1) had a slow start in the first half of the game against the Paint Branch Panthers, but increased their energy in the second half to win 4-0.

Blair varsity girls' soccer (3-3-1) established an early win over the Kennedy Cavaliers. Though the Blazers won the game, they could have come away with a bigger win with more focus and energy.

Blair varsity girls' soccer (2-3-1) played an evenly matched game against Churchill, tying 0-0. The game altered both teams' outlooks for the upcoming playoffs.

Cougars slink past Lady Blazers

Girls' varsity soccer (0-2) lost to the Quince Orchard Cougars (1-0) in a 1-0 shutout. The game was reminiscent of last year when Quince Orchard defeated Blair in the quarterfinals of the playoffs.

Lady Blazers knocked out of playoffs

The varsity girls’ soccer team (10-3-2) was eliminated from the playoffs on Tuesday night in its second loss of the year to Quince Orchard (11-4). The three goals allowed were the most the Blazers had given up all season to a Montgomery County team
