Gymnastics shows out for senior night

In its last home meet of the season, Blair gymnastics fought hard and placed second behind B-CC, with Blake finishing third. The Blazers prepared posters and roses for senior night which celebrated Sidney Smith, Kayla McCaw and Rachel Robey as well as the team's manager, Pilar Ocampo.

With a new coach by their side and three strong captains along with many new team members, the Blazers gymnastics team came out with the drive to win last night, and that's exactly what they did.

Blair's girls' tennis team (3-3) beat the Blake Bengals (4-1) by a score of 7-0 on Saturday morning. Second singles player, senior Allison Whitney was the first player to finish her game.

Blair offers new art electives

Blair introduced Fashion Drawing and Design, Digital Art 2, Digital Photography and World Drumming to the fine arts curriculum this school year in order to give students a diverse introduction to fine arts.

Boys' lacrosse blows by Bengals

The boys' varsity lacrosse team (3-2) beat the Blake Bengals by a score of 8-4 in their fifth game of the season. Despite some setbacks in focus, the Blazers were able to power their way through Blake’s scrappy defense and hold off their offense in the third and fourth quarters.

Girls' soccer bests Blake

The varsity girls' soccer team (9-2-2) won its final regular season home game in convincing fashion with a 6-1 win over Blake (4-10) on Wednesday night. While the senior night festivities were dampened by rain, the team still struck hard, scoring six goals behind a Jamie Kator hat trick.
