Blair graduation tentatively set for June 7

Montgomery Blair High School's Class of 2019's graduation date has been tentatively set to Friday, June 7, 2019. This will be two weeks after the final day for seniors which is May 24, 2019.

Some seniors are looking forward to the break after a grueling school year. “I’m very happy about it because I think we [seniors] can use a break. I don’t really have an issue with it,” said senior Grace Reachmack.

Others are annoyed by the long gap between the end of school and graduation. “It’s a little frustrating because I know I want to work over the summer and I feel like I can’t do anything until after graduation,” said senior Alice Turnham.

Graduation will most likely be held at the Xfinity Center in College Park, MD. Montgomery County Public Schools has yet to publish the official graduation date and location.
