Fifteen percent of Jerry's Subs and Pizza proceeds on May 19 to be donated
Blair's Destination Imagination Team (DI), which consists of seven junior girls, is holding a fundraiser on Thursday, May 19 at Jerry's Subs and Pizza in Four Corners. Fifteen percent of profits between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. will be donated to the team.
The team is fundraising for their trip to the Global Finals of the 2005 Destination Imagination Competition at the University of Tennessee. The DI team is leaving for the competition on May 25 and will be there for five days, said team-member junior Lynn Abe. Blair's DI team has been to the global competition for the past two years.According to Abe, this is the team's first fundraiser. Previously, DI team members paid for their trip without the help of outside sources.
