Fire alarm truncates fifth period

A fire alarm in the middle of 5b today evacuated students and staff from the building for the remainder of the period.

The alarm was activated at 12:12 by a student accidentally hitting one of the trigger boxes, according to Business Manager Anne Alban.

This alarm follows a trash fire in a bathroom last Thursday and a pair of bomb threats that resulted in an evacuation on Friday. Another bomb threat was made on Monday, but it was deemed not credible and the building was not evacuated.

The all-clear was sounded around 12:26 for students to return to the building.
