19th Annual Bunnyland

If you can't find an Easter egg hunting event for the season, Butler Farm's Bunnyland festival has that and more. Located in Germantown, Butler's Orchard offers activities for kids and adults on every weekend in April from 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Kids can enjoy hayrides, a rubber ducky derby and colorful Easter egg hunt. Typical farm activities are available as well, including pedal tractor riding, moon bounces, playing with animals and face painting. Come to Bunnyland for a sunny outdoor event.

Kenwood Cherry Blossoms and Spring Flowers Walk

Now that the brutal winter has passed, Blazers are rejoicing because of cherry blossoms. Along with the April 12 Washington D.C. parade, Seneca Valley Sugarloafer Walkers Club's Kenwood Cherry Blossoms and Spring Flowers Walk offers a unique experience. Through a 10 km self-guided walk Blazers can watch azalea flower and cherry blossoms arrangements in peak bloom. The trail starts at the Capital Crescent Trail and continues through the Kenwood neighborhood. This event lasts from May 12 to May 14, 2014 from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
