Graffiti with obscene sexual messages that were drawn on the walls of the boys' bathrooms on Silver Spring Avenue on the first floor and Blazer Court and also on several cafeteria tables will cost the school approximately $200, according to security team member James Brown.
This rash of vandalism prompted Principal Phillip Gainous to make an announcement on Dec 11 concerning the defacing of school property and the SGA to offer a reward for information as to the identity of the vandal.
The Student Government Association (SGA) is offering a $100 reward for information that would lead to the apprehension of the perpetrators of four acts of vandalism that have occurred in the past two weeks.
Tobin believes that with the efforts of the SGA and the increased vigilance of staff and students, the perpetrators are sure to be captured and prosecuted. "We will catch him. It is just a matter of time," said Tobin.
Students with information about the vandalism should contact the SGA in room 161 or speak to an administrator or security team member.
