Newsbrief: Silver Quill accepting submissions

Nov. 26, 2002, midnight | By Nina Feinberg | 22 years ago

Silver Quill, Blair's literary arts magazine, is now accepting submissions for its 2003 issue, according to faculty sponsor Valerie Josenhans.

Submissions may include, but are not limited to, poetry, prose, photography and art. The magazine began accepting work approximately two weeks ago and will continue to do so until about Feb 20. Submission boxes are located inside the English office (room 141), classroom 141, inside the Media Center and outside the main office.

Once a piece is submitted, it goes through an anonymous review process conducted by members of the Silver Quill staff. Josenhans explained that Silver Quill tries to represent the diversity of Blair by including pieces by students with a wide variety of viewpoints and writing levels and encouraged all students to submit their work.
