Semester Shakedown postponed

Blair Network Communications' (BNC) annual Semester Shakedown has been postponed until later this year as a result of possible inclement weather conditions tomorrow. The Downcounty mixer will likely be held on April 4 from 6 - 10 p.m., although the time is still tentative, according to BNC producer senior Lizzie Horne.

Even if school opens on time or on a two-hour delay schedule tomorrow, after-school activities could be canceled due to poor road conditions, Horne said. Other activities scheduled for Fridays in the SAC between the original Feb. 22 date and the tentative new date prevented the postponed dance from being held sooner.
