Everything you need to know about Sunday's Super Bowl between the LA Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals
Immaculately dressed Joe Burrow and his Cincinnati Bengals are set to square off with the Los Angeles Rams led by Matthew Stafford. Not even a year into his career with the team, Stafford is entering America's biggest sporting event of the year.
Here’s all you need to know about Super Bowl 56.
When is it?
Super Bowl Sunday is on Sunday, Feb. 13. Coverage will begin at 5:30 PM and kickoff will be an hour later at 6:30.
How can I watch it?
NBC is covering this year's game. It will be broadcasted on NBC's cable channel, along with several streaming services including Youtube TV, Hulu, Peacock, and Sling. It will also be on the NBC Sports app.
Who is performing in the halftime show?
The Super Bowl halftime show is considered the biggest concert of the year. The NFL says this year's halftime show will be "the most epic, star-studded Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show" ever. Five of music's biggest names will perform: Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar.
How have the teams gotten here?
An exhilarating divisional and conference championship (top 6 teams in the league) round lead to the Rams and Bengals emerging from the rubble. All four divisional and two championship games were either decided in sudden-death overtime or by no more than three points.
In the divisional round the Bengals knocked out the Tennessee Titans by a margin of a single field goal. The Rams barely survived an incredible Tom Brady-led comeback by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and also won by a field goal as time expired.
In the conference championship round, both teams also won with last-minute field goals. The Rams took down the 49ers at home and the Bengals defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Kansas City.
The Super Bowl really has something for everyone. Enjoy!
