Four students responsible for starting a fire on Apr 21, 2003 were caught just thirty minutes after the alarm sounded.
According to security guard Jose Segura, security cameras enabled security to determine what students were involved in the fire. Segura refused to comment on the punishment of the students, although he did say they were "caught and dealt with."
According to security guard Steve Miller, students who start fires are almost "always caught."
The fire started in a trashcan behind the gym, according to building services. Although the fire was contained, the fire prompted a precautionary evacuation.
