The boys' lacrosse team (6-5) didn't beat Whitman High School. But they did the next best thing, scoring six consecutive goals in the final quarter, showing resilience against one of the county's top teams.
In its 8-7 loss, Blair's fate seemed to be sealed as it went into the fourth quarter trailing 8-1. The Blazers' only goal in the first 36 minutes came from senior Andrew Ginsberg, who scored off a rebound from senior Brian Matheron.

With momentum on its side, the Blazers tried to win the ball back for one last scoring opportunity. Whitman, however, was able to keep possession for the final seconds and hold on for the victory.
