JANUARY 26, 2002, NELSON H. KOBREN MEMORIAL GYMNASIUM-

The Blair wrestling team beat Kennedy High School with a score of 60-15, due in large part to eight forfeits by Kennedy. The forfeits guaranteed a Blazer win and improved Blair's record to 9-1.

The only weight classes to wrestle were 112, 152, 171, 189, and 275. Blair won two of the five actual matches with pins by senior Zach Davis and sophomore Austin Madert.

Senior Ryan Brown broke his wrist prior to the Kennedy meet and will be sidelined for at least another three weeks, but he hopes to return to action in time for the County Tournament held at Blair.
