Recent Blair graduate dies of unknown causes

On Monday, the Blair community and alumni mourned the loss of University of Maryland sophomore Lowell Ensel (Blair class of 2013).

Blair baseball knocked out of playoffs

The Blazers (10-9) lost to the Jaguars (12-6) 5-3 in the second round of the playoffs. Northwest scored all five of their runs in the first inning leaving the Blazers to play catch up the rest of the game.

Popping the question

With prom less than a week away, the dramatic asking season has officially come to a close. Prom proposals, affectionately dubbed promposals, no longer consist of a simple “Will you go to prom with me?”

Baseball loses on Senior Night

Blair baseball (8-7) lost to Walter Johnson (5-14) by a final score of 8-4 on the Blazers' senior night. Blair struggled to throw strikes as they fell behind early and were unable to work their way back.

Damascus edges out Blair

The Blazers (7-6) were optimistic coming into the game, but they lost to the Damascus Hornets (6-6) by a final score of 2-1. This was a frustrating loss for the team because it was the Blazers’ fourth game this week and third loss.

Whitman baseball beats Blair

Blair varsity baseball (7-5) played their third of four games this week and lost to Whitman baseball (11-2) by a final score of 9-3. The Blazers were both mentally and physically tired at the beginning of the game and it showed.

Baseball loses to top-ranked Poolesville

Another game can be added to the list of the varsity baseball team's frustrating losses along with their tough, 12-inning loss to Sherwood on Thursday afternoon. The Blazers (4-3) met their match as they played Poolesville (8-0) and lost 4-3.

Varsity baseball demolishes Kennedy

The stadium was packed on this warm spring night to watch the Blazers crush the Cavaliers. The varsity baseball team (4-1) beat Kennedy (0-5) in five innings by a final score of 20-0.
