In the regional semifinal playoff matchup, the Boys' Basketball team (20-3) finished their season with a courageous effort in a 60-48 loss to the Whitman Vikings (19-6).

Friday night's game at Blazer stadium was the final football contest ever for many of Blair's varsity members, and they made sure that senior night was a night to remember. On a chilly, rainy day, the annual Battle of the Boulevard between the Blair Blazers and the Northwood Gladiators did not dampen the spirits of Blair fans. Despite the weather conditions, loyal fans stuck it out until the final whistle in order to watch the Blazers crush the Gladiators, 28-6.

It was likely a common belief that Blair football would not be very competitive this season. Rather, Blair put on a dominant performance Friday night against the Kennedy Cavaliers in a 25-0 rout.

Whitman sinks Blair 48-47 with last second three

With 12.6 seconds left in the game, the Blazers (12-8) found themselves up by one against the visiting Vikings (11-9), well on their way to win number 13 on the season. Junior co-captain Damar Bess was at the free throw line, and Bess had already scored 10 points in the decisive fourth quarter.

Clutch free throws propel Blair past Springbrook

The Blair boys’ varsity basketball team (5-2) beat the Springbrook Blue Devils (5-2) for the first time in a decade, 40-39, as senior guard Trey Wainwright sank two free throws with 3.1 seconds left in the game.

Blair dominates Northwood in Battle of the Boulevard

It looked like Northwood (0-2) might have a chance against Blair as they scored first, taking a 2-0 lead over the Blazers. That only lasted for a minute however as Blair (2-0) went on to dominate the rest of the game en route to a 56-20 thrashing of their archrivals.
