With five minutes left in the fourth quarter, Blair and Einstein were tied at 34-34. As the clock counted down, Einstein scored a three-pointer and brought the score to 38-36 in the final minute of the game.

The two victories make up Blair's first string of consecutive wins since beginning the season 3-0.
Blair varsity boys' basketball team (5-13) fell short to Paint Branch (16-3) on Tuesday night, 56-43. Although shaky through the first half, the Blazers kept up in the second half and mounted a fourth quarter rally which brought them within seven points of the division champion Panthers.
There's something to be said about the fact that on Wednesday night, Blair ended their game with more turnovers than points scored. Despite Blair's variety of talented players, the Blazers continue to struggle with unity, grabbing rebounds and accuracy of shots.
It was in no sense an offensive showdown Tuesday night, as the visiting Sherwood Warriors and Blair's varsity boys' basketball team combined for just 65 points, barely topping the Blazers' 63-point outing at Northwood in late December. Blair (4-7) bore the worst of the shooting troubles however, and the Warriors (4-6) grabbed their third straight road win of the season in a sloppy 41-24 triumph.
