Augustana (02/04/2012)
Augustana is back on tour after a band split late last year and the addition of its newest member, David Lamoureux. The rock band brings alternative throwback to the D.C. area in early February, when they appear at the 9:30 club on the 4th with Graffiti 6 and Say Chance. Doors open at 8 p.m., and tickets are $20 per person.
D.R.U.G.S. (Jan 24, 2012)
D.R.U.G.S., a post-hardcore band, is playing at the 9:30 Club on Jan. 24 at 6 pm. Tickets are $15.
Bach 2 Rock (Jan 17, 2012)
Bach 2 Rock is a music school for students of all ages where children learn how to put their individual talents together to make a great show. Tickets are $5.
Rise Against (Jan 17, 2012)
Punk rock band Rise Against will grace the stage at the Patriot Center with their fast drum beats, guitar riffs, and vocal melodies in early February as part of their 2012 U.S. tour. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets range from $40 - $55 per person.

One For the Money (01/27/2012)
Based on Janet Evanovich's 1994 novel of the same name, "One for the Money" stars Katherine Heigl as luckless, broke Stephanie Plum, who needs a job -- badly. Plum turns to her cousin, Vinnie (Patrick Fischler), and becomes a bounty hunter. Her task: bring back Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara), former cop wanted for murder and previous high school romance. Without any experience or skills, Plum turns to enigmatic Ranger (Daniel Sunjata) for help. Then, things become complicated as she soon realizes that the case isn't what it appears to be and that she might still have unresolved feelings for Morelli.
Coriolanus (Jan 20, 2012)
Based on William Shakespeare's tragedy, "Coriolanus" is about a Roman hero who rallies the common men of Rome to help him secure his position in office. One of the rallies to secure votes causes havoc in the city and Coriolanus is banished. This forces him to ally with his sworn enemy to take revenge on the city that banished him.
Underworld:Awakening (Jan 20, 2012)
This 3D film is about a war between humans and the Vampire/Lycan clan. The war is a battle of the species, and the Vampire warrioress Selene refuses to let the humans win.
Contraband (Jan 17, 2012)
Infamous smuggler Chris Farraday (Wahlberg) wants nothing more to leave behind his life of crime and contraband. But when his brother-in-law, Andy (Caleb Landry Jones), needs his help settling a debt with a drug lord, Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi), Farraday is forced to revert back to his old ways and heads to Panama to smuggle millions of counterfeit bills. The catch? He has to bring back the cash in a few hours, or else his loved ones are doomed.

Scars and Stories (02/07/2012)
Following a 2009 Christmas EP, alternative rock band, The Fray, will release its third album, "Scars and Stories," in early February. According to an interview with music video site, Vevo, the band said inspiration for the album's tracks came from its trip around the world (i.e. "Munich" and "Rainy Zurich"). The album features 12 songs, including the latest single, "Heartbeat," which was released on Oct. 8, 2011.
Ringo (Jan 31, 2012)
Previous Beatles drummer Ringo Star is set to release his 16th studio album on Jan. 31 in the U.S., and a day prior in the U.K. "Ringo 2012" features nine tracks, which includes two covers and two re-recordings his songs from the 70s, and pays homage to Star's most successful solo album to date, "Ringo," released back in 1973.
Emotional Traffic (Jan 24, 2012)
Country singer Tim McGraw releases Emotional Traffic on Jan. 24. The album already features a new hit single “Felt Good On My Lips” which topped the Hot Country Songs chart a year ago.
100 Proof (Jan 24, 2012)
American Idol star Kellie Pickler releases her new album 100 Proof on Jan. 24. Her new album includes her newest single “Tough” and all of the music on her new album is available for pre-order on iTunes.
