Warm days, fun concerts

Summertime is approaching and Blazer concert goers are looking for the next best show in town. Whoever the performer, wherever the venue, no matter the time of year, concerts are always entertaining. SCO experts have done research to find some of the best concerts in the area for the upcoming months. If you're interested in attending, or just discovering new artists, then keep reading.

Miley Cyrus
Date: April 10
Time: 7 p.m.
Venue: Verizon Center

Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour comes to the Verizon Center on April 10.
Despite recent controversial opinions about Miley Cyrus, she knows how to put on a show. Whether you like her or not, this concert is bound to be entertaining. Her Bangerz Tour will be featuring songs from her newest album, 'Bangerz' such as 'Get it right,' 'Adore You,' and many more.

Sweet Life Festival

The Sweet Life Festival is an annual music and food festival run by the restaurant Sweet Green. This year's headliners are Lana Del Rey and Foster the People. Other artists and bands will perform, such as 2 Chainz, Bastille, and many more.

Lady Gaga

Time: 7:30 p.m.
Venue: Verizon Center
Lady Gaga's The ARTPOP Ball Tour, also being referred to "artRAVE,"will be featuring her latest hits, such as 'Applause' and 'Do What U Want.' Lady Gaga is an extravagant artist, and this is sure to be a great concert.

Venue: Jiffy Lube Live
The WMZQFest is an annual country music festival run by the radio station 98.7. This year's headliner is Dierks Bentley. He will be performing songs such as 'Am I the Only One,' 'Come a Little Closer,' 'Draw Me a Map,' and many more.

Jack Johnson
Date: June 5
Time: 6 p.m.
Venue: Merriweather Post Pavilion
On his world tour, Jack Johnson will be playing songs such as "Flake," "Bubble Toes," "Wasting Time" and many more. His music is acoustic and mellow, so if you're looking to veer away from the Miley Cyrus/Lady Gaga scene, then Jack Johnson's concert would be good for you.

Katy Perry
Date: June 25
Time: 7 p.m.
Venue: Verizon Center

Katy Perry's The Prismatic World Tour will be featuring hits from her newest album, Prism. She will tour all around the world from June to October 2014. If you attend, you'll hear songs such as "Roar," "Dark Horse," "Unconditionally," and many more. Katy Perry�s great voice and poppy personality and bound to make this a worthwhile show.
