What happens if school closes on an exam day?
Here is the plan in case of school closings during the week of semester exams:
The semester exams will occur in order. Regardless of which days they are taken on, students will take their first period exam, then second period, then third period, and so on.
For example, if MCPS announced a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 23, then students would take their 3rd period exam on that day during the time they would normally have been taking the 4th period exam. On Thursday, students would take their 4th and 5th period exams in that order. Students would take 6th and 7th period exams on Friday and 8th period exams on Monday, Jan. 28.
