On Wednesday night, sophomore Sonika Ram died of leukemia. A schoolwide announcement informed students of this during seventh period Friday, and many students chose to observe a moment of silence to remember her.

A viewing was held this Saturday, March 16, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sligo Adventist Church, located at 7700 Carroll avenue. The funeral was at 10 a.m., also at Sligo Adventist Church, on the following day, Sunday, March 17.

The SGA will post a rememberance banner on the SAC wall for students who want to write down their thoughts.
