Britney Spears says she is pregnant
Pop singer Britney Spears announced Tuesday that she and husband Kevin Federline have conceived their first child. Spears announced the news on her official web site, ending months of tabloid speculation.
According to CNN, Spears wrote that, "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together. There were reports that I was in the hospital this weekend. Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers."
Reuters reported that Spears and Federline announced no further details. This is her first child, but it is Federline's third. He had two children with former girlfriend Shar Jackson, whose movie career began and ended with a starring role in "Good Burger."
Spears and Federline have been married since September and live in Los Angeles.
Spears, 23, from Kentwood, Louisiana, has sold over 60 million albums worldwide, according to Billboard.

Second, to all you people who are talking like Britney Spears is going to see this, NEWS FLASH: SHE IS NOT GOING TO SEE THIS SO STOP TALKING TO HER. SHE DOESNT KNOW OR CARE WHO YOU ARE. And stop telling her what to do. I mean, if she wants to lead a screwed up life let her.
In conclusion: SCO, this is actually the first time I have ever been disappointed with you. How about we cover some real news now?
BUT um....silver chips reports news...and this is news. A famous person is having a child...im not sure what section of SCO this was in...but it probably belongs in Entertainment or something. But anyways, (to those objecting to the article) just because you dont like britney spears doesnt mean that her pregnancy cant be written about. It may not be a very important issue in todays world but still...its a little article...its not that big of a deal. SC keeps up with other things going on too!
I don't understand why someone would rip us for reporting too much...seems odd to me. Do I think that this compromises the integrity of SCO? Of course not; becuase if we did, this would never have been run, and the editors and I don't regret the decision. I'm pretty amused by it.
Judging by the volume of comments, people are reading. So why not report what people are interested in? Thanks for reading SCO.
As for Sam's comments: There is a great deal to be said for editing and a bit of self control. As much as I might want to vomit out anything I feel like talking about onto the page a little bit of discipline, revision and though can yield a much better newspaper.
And I dont mean to make that sound arrogant, beucase it's not like I made the difference in us winning those awards.

A BABY IS A BEAUTIFUL THING.
HOWEVER....
HELLO, THE MAN HAD 1 KID AND ONE ON THE WAY WHEN SHE MET HIM! EITHER SHE WAS WANTING THE FERTILE SPERM OR SHE WAS JUST CRAZY. EITHER WAY...SHE LOOKS HAPPY. AND THAT'S WHAT COUNTS. HOPE TO GOD SEAN DOESN'T END UP LIKE HIS FATHER.

I noticed you said that if you don't like Britney than why don't you cry about it. Kid, you're probably only 13 or 14. Don't get caught up in this kind of gossip. You're right about a lot of people like Britney. You are forgetting, however, it is mainly little kids who don't have enough morals.
