Class of 2005 was very special.

So not only was the class of 2005 the worst, but apparently the stupidest.
  • 05 alum on September 10, 2005 at 9:05 PM
Yeah ok 06, clearly we are the "stupidest" considering we sent students to every single IVY LEAGUE school including 4 students to Harvard. We also had two members of our class featured in the Washington Post magazine as being amazing scientists. Oh yeah, and we had the most Intel Semi-finalists in the country, and oh, I almost forgot, I think we had the most finalists, including one who made it into the top ten. CLEARLY, no geniuses in our class.

remember, these numbers are a reflection of the whole school, not just the magnet.

    RE: 05 alum

and yet with all those accomplishments, your SAT scores were still the lowest. Please, wait till 06 graduates, your achievements are gonna be nothing compared to ours.

Chill out. All of the accomplishments that you angrily mentioned were accomplished by magnets. Given this, I assume you are magnet yourself, but that's not the point. Being a magnet alum, I know that's it's sometimes frustrating to never see the accomplishments of the Magnet Program separate from the accomplishments of the rest of Blair. But this is just more practical.

anyone got the numbers on the average scores of just the magnet? those would be interesting...
  • RE:06 on September 14, 2005 at 8:37 AM
OK. But remember to adjust the 2400 to 1600 scale... oh wait, that won't be necessary, because the average score's still gonna be three-digits!

Actually, if this data is from the 2004-2005 school year, a lot of 06 kids probably took their SATS. I know that I (and many other fellow 05 kids) took my SATS during the 03-04 school year. So basically, 05 didn't suck. A mixture of 05 and 06 sucked.

Oh 06, what are we gonna do with yall? While you're still busy taking the SATs and dealing with insane Blair rules and administration, the class of 05 is off having fun and going crazy in COLLEGE. ie...it doesn't matter if we're
"not as bright"...because yall are still stuck over there. Have fun with all the dozens of new policies that I'm sure have been imposed this year. Oh, and good luck finding something fun to do on the weekends...the whole 'parents being home' thing tends to get in the way, doesn't it?

on the info sheet the magnet gave 06 parents last year, the 05 magnet SAT average was 1501... beat that, guys!
