Event to be run by Candidate for County Executive Steve Silverman

Steve Silverman, candidate for Montgomery County Executive, will hold a discussion regarding disability issues on Monday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Special Needs Library, located at 6400 Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda.

Silverman plans to answer questions and explain his ideas for ensuring that all county citizens are supported and valued.

Silverman's campaign coordinator Judy Jablow said the forum is aimed at better understanding the needs of the disabled. What the campaign "hopes to accomplish is getting feedback on issues in the disabled community," Jablow said, adding that Silverman wants to "focus on and understand the needs of this community."

Silverman has served on the County Council's Health and Human Services Committee for eight years.

While the event is aimed at improving conditions for the disabled, all county citizens are welcome. A flyer for the event is accessible here.

If you wish to attend the event, you must RSVP with chuck@stevesilverman.org or call (301)984-0044.
