Thin chocolate glaze

This glaze makes the perfect addition to any cake that is strong enough to stand on its own. The glaze goes great with the French Chocolate Cake.

Makes about 1 cup

- Double boiler

- 1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons milk


1. Combine chocolate and butter in the top of a double boiler

2. Melt, stirring frequently over hot water

3. Stir in corn syrup and milk and beat until mixture is smooth

4. Spread glaze while still warm over the cake or cookies (which should be cooled and brushed free of all crumbs)
