The ultimate cookie experience

When it comes to chocolate cookies, certain recipes set the standard for what can be called "great." This ultimate chocolate fix leaves all these cookies in the dust — even the original chocolate chip cookie. Not only are they easy to make, but the taste will amaze even the most hesitant chocolate lover. Though they require a lot of ingredients considering the number of cookies you end up with, they are undoubtedly worth it.

Cookie lovers should be sure to try these chocolate-on-chocolate delights. photo courtesy of http://sifyimg.speedera.net

- ¼ tsp. baking powder

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350º

2. Melt the 8 oz of semi-sweet baking chocolate in the microwave until melted and smooth

3. Add sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla and stir until well blended

4. Add the flour and baking powder and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips

5. Drop by rounded tablespoon a couple inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets (the cookies won't spread much)

6. Bake cookies for 12 to 14 minutes. Better the cookies be moist than burnt
