Athletes rewarded at fall sports awards ceremony

The Blair Booster Club hosted the fall sports awards ceremony last night in the auditorium, where Blair's 335 fall athletes were recognized for their academic accomplishments and athletic performances.

Athletic Director Dale Miller began the night by commending the fall athletes and their parents for successful fall seasons. He then recognized the 218 scholar athletes with a GPA of 3.25 and above and invited the 46 straight-A athletes on stage to receive a patch.

Beginning with the Cheerleading squad, coaches from each team spoke about focal points in their seasons and presented four awards: Coaches Award (CA), Outstanding Senior (OS), Most Improved (MI) and Most Valuable Player (MVP).
