Latin American film festival begins next week
The AFI Silver, located in downtown Silver Spring, provides audiences with a variety of movies from silent films to new releases. From September 18 to 28, the theater is planning a Latin-American Film Festival in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
A free event will mark the beginning of the festival on September 13, noon to 4pm. The event will feature Latino film and music, free gifts, and special guests.
During the festival, the latest Latino films will be screened at AFI Silver. Many filmmakers are expected to attend. Click here to download the schedule.
