APR 22, BLAZER STADIUM-–

The Blazers' game against Damascus High School was postponed due to continuous rainfall in the middle of the third inning. Fortunately, the game will be continued where it was halted, a 4-0 Blazer lead, with senior power-hitting catcher Max Eckert to lead off the bottom of the third inning.

The Blazers played a flawless first inning. Junior pitcher Sam Boone did not allow a base runner as junior third baseman Ian Scroggs made all three assists in the inning. In the three innings, Boone struck out three batters, allowed only one hit, and did not allow a Hornet to reach third base.

The four first inning runs were the most the Blazers scored in one inning in the last seven games. Eckert hit the only extra-base hit of the game, a double which scored senior shortstop Josh Richardson. Left fielder Thomas Foley and first baseman Kent Anderson, both juniors, each had an RBI single in the first inning.

The date and time of the remainder of the game in currently unknown, but it will be made available as soon as possible. The Blazers' next game will be at Springbrook High School on Apr 26 at 1:30.
