Blazers compete in fencing junior olympics

Three Blair juniors are traveling to Cleveland, Ohio to compete in the Junior Olympics for fencing which take place on Feb 13 to Feb 17.

Juniors Erika Hartman, Max Czapanskiy, and Abigail Fraeman have qualified for the competition and will be fencing this weekend. All three fencers managed to qualify by either placing in the top four at a divisional competition, state qualifier or earning a certain amount of national points.

Fencers from across the country, as well as Mexico and Canada, can qualify for the competition.
