Blazers earn National Merit Scholarships

Seven students nationally recognized


Eleven students from Blair have received National Merit Scholarships for their performances on the PSATs.

Blazers Matthew Baron, Evan Karlik, Lisa Leung, Joshua Chang, Kevin Chang, Kristina Cammen, Anatoly Preygel, Samantha Hong, Kristin Hoven, David Madej, and Eric Schaffer are among 22 other students from Montgomery County to receive the honor.

In addition to being National Merit Semifinalists, the Scholars needed to submit an application that included recommendations, an essay, and a list of extracurricular activities.
