Fire drill interrupts third period

A fire drill interrupted third period today, following an alternative safety plan due the snow and ice covering the fields and stadium.

Students were directed to wait in the front and rear parking lots instead of the usual designated areas. "We don't want kids with broken arms and legs," said security guard Edward Reddick.

Many students used the opportunity to seek shelter from the cold in their cars, although they were asked not to by security.

"The fire drill wasn't planned and it wasn't pulled, it just sort of went off," explains security guard Steve Miller.
