APR 30, BLAZER STADIUM--

The Blazers utilized strong offensive plays and mid-field defense to beat the Paint Branch High School Panthers today, 19-1.

Coming off a double-overtime loss against Wootton Apr 23, the Blazers started putting the shots in the net in the first minutes of the game and did not look back.

As the game progressed, the Blazers cleaned up their basic skills, moving the ball more through the air and coming up with a higher percentage of the ground balls.

Blair improved its record this season to 5-4 and used the opportunity to prepare for a tough away game against powerhouse Whitman High School, May 2 at 7 pm. The Vikings have won 90 straight Montgomery County games and are consistently ranked among the area's top teams by the Washington Post.
