Governor Ehrlich's Secretary is scheduled to visit Blair with Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Montgomery County officials on Monday, November 24.

According to Blair secretary Julie Riviera, Governor Ehrlich was originally scheduled to attend. Blair was "almost positive" that the Governor was coming. However, the plans were slightly tentative.

Instead, the Governor's Secretary, MDOT officials and the Montgomery County officials are going to participate in a discussion about transportation issues facing the state of Maryland, according to Ms. Addison. "It's an open forum for the public," said Riviera.

The officials will arrive at 5 PM, after school hours, so the visit will not disrupt the Blair school day. Open forums and discussions with the officials will continue until 10 PM.

Representatives from the Governor's Office were not available to comment on the exact agenda for the forum or the vist to Blair.
