Silver Chips Online is Pacemaker finalist

Silver Chips Online was selected by the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) as one of seven finalists for the Pacemaker, the highest award given by the NSPA to its member publications.

Silver Chips Online, a finalist chosen from 49 national entries, was also invited to attend the Journalism Education Association/NSPA Spring National Journalism Convention awards ceremony in San Diego, California on April 3. At the convention, the Pacemaker award winner will be announced.

Pacemaker entries were judged in the following areas: site design, site content and quality, ease of navigation, interactivity, quality of writing and editing and timeliness of content and updates.
