Blair teacher Ms. Jacobson has always dreamed of science. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and earned her Master's degree in teaching/education. Afterwards she worked in the Wyeth Aherst research lab.

She came to Blair in 2001 and has been teaching Honors Chemistry since. "Ms. Jacobson makes Chemistry super cool, even though she doesn't allow fire tornados," says Katie Schlebecker, one of her former students. "And even if you break her hole puncher, she still likes you, or at least she pretends to."

Ms. Jacobson is very dedicated to her job. This summer, she plans on taking a few courses, working on next year's curriculum, and of course, resting. " I guess I plan on teaching for a while," Jacobson said.

Ms. Jacobson also has a life outside of school. Jacobson is the sponsor of the Straight Edge Coalition. Besides Chemistry, she also loves to travel. She has been to the Bahamas, California, and Paris. "It's nothing to big," Jacobson claims. She also enjoys watching T.V. and going to the movies.

This well loved chemistry teacher has obviously achieved her dream of becoming an educator and studying science. She's a great teacher according to many of her students, and they learn well from her.
